Great day for youth teams

It was a great day today for our youth teams that were in action.

April Snowball draw

The April snowball draw was made at half-time of yesterday's game.

Sponsored walk update

The total raised so far by those who took part in the sponsored walk to Harrow Borough earlier this month is nearly £1800.

Wilmot is fans favourite

After todays game, the end of season awards were presented on the pitch.

Greens end on a high

Hendon completed their season on a high note with a good 1-0 win against Margate, who went into the game needing to win to have any chance of reaching the play-offs.

Eric Wilbey

The club regret to announce the passing of long-time supporter Eric Wilby who died this week aged 77.

Youth team round up

On Sunday morning, the under 14s moved a step closer to earning at least a championship play-off with a two wins in their double header against Brunwick.

Phil makes the top 2000

Supporters Trust Board member Phil Rogers completed the London Marathon today and finished in the top 2000.

Greens secure Premier status

Hendon secured their Premier Division status this afternoon with a 2-1 win at already relegated Worthing.

Supporters in eight goal thriller

The Hendon Supporters team played the Worthing Supporters team this morning ahead of the first team game and drew 4-4.

Another point on the board

Hendon picked up another point as they drew 1-1 with Staines Town in a largely uneventful game.

Under 15s are champions

Our Under 15s won their league today with a convincing 6-0 win over Belmont United.

Sponsorship money please

The supporters trust have asked that all the sponsored walkers bring in their money as soon as possible.

Greens and Swifts draw

Hendon and Heybridge Swifts played out a 1-1 draw at a very warm Claremont Road this afternoon.

Following Worthing's 1-1 draw at Horsham this evening, the Greens can not finish in the bottom three and thus be relegated automatically.

The Greens moved another step closer to safety with a hard fought 2-1 win at Harrow Borough this afternoon.

100 up for Davis

Davis Haule made his 100th first team appearance for the club on Saturday afternoon against Horsham.

eBay auction of football memorabilia

The supporters trust have secured a number of items of football memorabilia.

Cricket ticket auction

Three County cricket clubs, Surrey, Hampshire and Warwickshire, have very kindly donated tickets to the supporters trust to auction to help the continuing fundraising effort.

Variety Night postponed

It is with much regret that the Supporters Trust have taken the decision to postpone the Variety Night, due to have taken place in three weeks time, due to very low ticket sales.

Archer and three others sign on

Ahead of the transfer deadline last Saturday, Dale Archer, who has been training with us for a couple of months after leaving Enfield, signed forms to play Ryman League football for us.

Belal at the double

Two goals from Belal Aiteouakrim not only gave Hendon all three points in a 2-0 win over Horsham this afternoon, but also took him ahead of Dean Green as leading scorer for the season.

eBay donations required

The supporters trust eBay shop continues to do very well and has now raised nearly £2000 since it was opened twelve months ago.

The supporters association will have St George's Flags on sale at the reduced price of £7.

Voting for the player of the season will open on Saturday afternoon.

Greens win monthly award

We have won the GX Soccer Performance of the Month award for March.

April Fool!!

We can confirm, just in case anyone is wondering, that the story posted yesterday about the Greens playing at Wembley Stadium next season is indeed an April Fool.

Hendon to play at Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium, The Football Association, the London Borough of Brent and Hendon Football Club are delighted to announce that the Greens will be playing at the newly-refurbished Wembley Stadium in season 2007-08.
