Match Report

Golders Green once again experienced team difficulties on Saturday,, arriving at Imber Court one short, Griggs being unable to leave business in time. The team was made up by the inclusion of L. Fisher, who was on the ground as a spectator, but sportingly filled the breach. The Police won by 4-1.

Gunner and Leach were outstanding in the Police' strong defence; Hart put up another magnificent display in goal; in the second half Busby and Birbeck changed places, and the losers are to be congratulated on their display, considering the unaccustomed positions many players were called upon to fill.
