Golders Green dropped two more home points in their Herts and Middlesex League match against Southall at Claremont Road last Saturday.
Southall's play was forceful, but Golders Green worked for the most part as individual units.
The opening phase of the game was all in favour of Golders Green, but after 20 minutes Sealey slipped and let SNAZEL through to score. Five minutes later, Morrad beat Sealey, Lucas saved, but PINE got the ball on the rebound and scored, giving Southall a 2-0 lead at half-time.
After the interval a miskick by Sealey sent Southall away for a corner, following this BREAGAN netted the visitors' third. Two corners to Southall followed; Lucas made a brilliant save from Morrad, and the Green got away, YATES taking up a forward pass to score with a fine shot.
Encouraged, the Green exerted heavy pressure. Keen put Evans away, but Pulling, receiving the ball, shot wide. Then Southall broke away and MORRAD ran through to score Southall's fourth with a good solo effort.
The Green resumed the attack but failed to score.
Towards the end, the game was stopped through temporary injury to one of the home players. Following the bounce up, Breagan, unmarked, got away and put to Snazel, from whose pass CHUDLEY scored Southall's fifth.
