Hendon and Southall served up another classic ding-dong as five goals in the final 25 minutes saw the two sides play-out a 3-3 draw taking the combined goal tally to 20 in the clubs' last three meetings.

Southall controlled the first half and deservedly led through Dan Hector's fine free kick from the edge of the box. Hendon pushed for an equaliser, but had to wait until the 68th minute for the equaliser when Jordan Williams rose to thump a header beyond Milan Czerwonka who had produced a brilliant save to deny the Hendon skipper shortly before.

Southall had actually had the ball in the net before the Greens' first equaliser, but Billy Montague had been ajudged offside. He made no mistake five minutes after Hendon got back on terms, seizing on slack marking to fire home a corner from the edge of the box.

Harry Brant grabbed his first goal since December 2025 to bring the two sides level again in the 83rd minute, but the points looked to have been heading back to West London when, just four minutes later, Liam Ferdinand turned on the edge of the box and fired a fine low finish into the bottom corner of the net.

As the game entered the 2nd minute of stoppage time, Isaac Stones did well to keep a Daniel Brobbey cross alive and Reece Nicholas-Davies pounced to fire a powerful shot goalward. It looked as though the excellent Czerwonka had saved the effort, but he was aghast to see the ball bounce under his body and trickle over the line.

There was still time for Josh Strizovic to excel himself in the 96th minute, plunging himself to his left at full-stretch to push a thunderous Ryan Hope strike behind for a corner.

The point takes the Greens top of the table for at least the next 24-hours ahead of Winchester City's clash with winless Littlehampton Town tomorrow evening.
