Hendon produced their worst performance of the season so far in going down 2-1 to an impressive Hastings United side at the Pilot Field on Saturday afternoon.

Josh Strizovic had already made a couple of fine saves when Max Walsh pounced to fire the hosts ahead in the 13th minute and the only surprise was that it took until the 68th minute for that advantage to be doubled.

Ayo Olasimbo fired home after Hendon failed to clear their lines and, athough Isaac Stones scored in stoppage time, it proved to be no more than a mere consolation strike.
