Quintain, Ashford Place, Silver Jubilee Park and Brent council are collaborating to bring Dementia Awareness Week to the forefront of conversations this May. Almost all of us know someone affected by dementia. But too many people living with dementia report feeling cut off from their community. We all have a role to play in making the UK a dementia-friendly place to live.

As part of Dementia Awareness Week, Silver Jubilee Park is hosting a charity football match on Wednesday 22nd May in order to raise funds for Ashford Place, which hosts one of Brent's multiple Dementia Cafes.

The fun begins at 2pm with kick-off at 3pm and there'll be plenty of laughs, familiar faces and refreshments to enjoy at SJP throughout the day.

Entry is £3 and tickets can be purchased clicking here.

If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute then CAD Brent have set up a justgiving page where you can donate.

If you would like to help run the event and volunteer, please send an email to volunteering@quintain.co.uk

With each partner playing a vital role in helping to make Brent a dementia friendly borough, it would be great to see as many Hendon Supporters as possible support this brilliant community venture.
