Hendon twice took the lead in their final away game of the season at Chesham United but were unable to hold on to the points, being pegged back in the final minutes to draw 2-2 and ensure the survival saga goes right down to the wire.

Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick gave the Greens the lead from the penalty spot after 14 minutes an advantage that was held until just after half-time when David Pearce equalised for the Generals.

Hippolyte-Patrick restored Hendon's advantage with 16 minutes remaining, again from the penalty spot, before a handball decision late on gave Pearce the chance to level things up from 12-yards, something he duly did by drilling the ball straight down the middle of the goal.

Hendon drop to 19th, one place and one point above Walton Casuals in the final relegation zone as we go into Saturday's vital game with Swindon Supermarine.
