As readers of this week's programme will be aware, Hendon Reserves defender Ewan Ironside was on the mend at the weekend after being rushed to hospital the previous Sunday evening. Ironside had been injured in the defeat at Hayes on the Saturday, being knocked unconscious during the fist half. He was taken to hospital after he came to, but was discharged soon after. On Sunday evening, while with friends, he suffered a seizure and was rushed to the Whittington Hospital, where he underwent a brain scan. He was kept in hospital until Wednesday evening and is now recovering although he has no memory of the incident.
