Hendon continued their good start to the season, beating visitors Hitchin 2-1 despite having to field a weakened side. With five first team members unavailable, new signings Steve Gallen (from Waterford, Ireland) and Christian Hyslop (Harrow Borough) were named as substitutes, although both went usused.
