After a ding-dong battle at Claremont Road last Saturday, Golders Green succeeded in annexing two points at Southall's expense, in the Herts and Middlesex League.

Southall fielded a strong side, including A.H. Snazel and R.H. Brown, both quondam Golders Green players, and F. Morrad, a forceful centre-forward. Golders Green did not have Bloxham's services, Breagan dropping back to right half, and Stockwell playing inside left.

Territorially, the home side had more of the play, but Southall always looked dangerous in attack.
