Youth team round up

The under 16s kept up their perfect start to the league season with a 7th win this time 6-0 against St Josephs, six different players made it onto the scoresheet.

Pickett the hero as Greens win

Captain Ross Pickett was the hero this afternoon as the Greens picked up their first win of the season, winning 2-0 at fellow strugglers Walton & Hersham.

Gary to stay on as manager

Despite not having taken the full two weeks break agreed last week, Gary McCann has decided to withdraw his resignation and has agreed to stay on as first team manager.

Yhdego signs on

Midfielder Eseyas Yhdego (pronounced Daygo) joined the club in time to be on the bench this afternoon.

Bromley game rearranged

The outstanding league game at home to Bromley has now been rearranged and will take place on Monday 4th December, kicking off at 7.

Supporters Trust AGM minutes

The minutes for the recent Supporters Trust AGM are now available on the Supporters Trust website.

October snowball results

The October snowball draw was made on Saturday at half-time, and the winning number for the second month in a row was number 38 who wins the first prize of £153.

Clean sweep for youth teams

It was a clean sweep yesterday as all four youth teams won their respective games.

McCann tenders resignation

Following Hendon's defeat in the FA Trophy against Ramsgate today, first-team manager Gary McCann offered to resign.

Dons exit FA Trophy

Hendon exited the FA Trophy at the first hurdle this afternoon as they lost 2-1 to Ramsgate.

Both the under 13s and under 14s were knocked out of their County Cups last Sunday.

Vargas leaves, Wheeler joins

Prior to the game at Folkestone on Monday it was confirmed that Craig Vargas had signed for Southern League side Windsor & Eton on a dual registration.

Triple win for youth teams

All three youth teams that were in action yesterday won their respective league games.

Supporters game next weekend

The proposed game between Hendon Supporters and Barnet Supporters is going ahead and will be played next Saturday, 14th October on the playing fields behind Underhill Stadium.

Two off for first team football

Ricky Pattenden and Nas Richardson have both temporarily left the club today with a view to getting more regular first team football.

Following the postponement of our home game against Bromley, there are no plans to rearrange any other fixtures for Saturday 14th October to give the players a break before the trip to Folkestone on Monday 16th October.

Casino Night cancelled

Due to lack of support for this event, the Supporters Trust Board has regretfully decided to cancel the Casino Night due to take place on Saturday evening.

Youth team round up

It was a mixed weekend for the youth teams, but the under 16s led the way with a 12-2 demolition of Harlington, Lamal Brown scoring a double hat-trick.

Hendon were knocked out of the Westview (Isthmian League) Cup this evening by Staines Town.
