Hendon kicked off their home league campaign in the Isthmian League South Central with a 1-1 draw against Bedfont Sports.

The Greens were indebted to a fine display from goalkeeper Josh Strizovic, whose catalogue of saves included an early penalty stop. Tobi Adaje opened his Hendon account 10 minutes into the second half before Lewis Flatman beat the Greens' offside trap to lob Strizovic and equalise.

Gary Ross in the Bedfont goal ensured a deserved share of the spoils when he guessed right to save Niko Muir's stoppage time penalty.
