Tyla Dickinson was the Hendon hero this evening as his three penalty saves in a shoot out saw the Greens progress to the next stage of the London Senior Cup against Cockfosters.

Cekyan Karahozlu gave the visitors an early lead after five minutes outpacing the Hendon defence and finishing coolly whilst Hendon's equaliser came five minutes after the break when a goalmouth scramble went in off a defender.

Both sides attacked with intent, the better chances falling Hendon's way, but Cockfosters fully deserved the shoot-out.

Dickinson saved the visitors' first three efforts whilst Kameron English and Howard Hall scored for the Greens. Brad Robinson, who made a number of excellent claims from crosses, then saved from Luca Valentine before Cockfosters' fourth penalty hit the post to give the Greens progression into round 2.
