Last night the Under-23s took a large step towards claiming the Middlesex County League title by beating their nearest challengers Hayes & Yeading United 4-0 at Silver Jubilee Park last night.

Ben Gray opened the scoring with a beautifully taken free-kick before Khalil Francis added a second after a free-kick was headed down into his path.

Francis then turned provider for Alfred Achaempong with a lovely reverse pass for the midfielder to finish neatly to give the hosts a 3-0 half-time lead.

Francis completed the scoing in the second period with another well-taken finish to leave Finlay Johnson and John Creith's side requiring a single point from their remaining two games to clinch the title.

Their next scheduled game is on Wednesday 27th March against Hanwell Town at SJP, with kick-off at 7:30pm. We are still awaiting a date for our visit to CB Hounslow.
