The first team put in an excellent performance this afternoon to beat Dulwich Hamlet 2-0 at Champion Hill in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Greens took the lead on the stroke of half time when Niko Muir pounced on a defensive effor to turn and fire the ball past Preston Edwards, and just minutes after the break, Luke Tingey fired a short free kick from Spencer McCall into the net.

Whilst Dulwich had plenty of possession in the second half, they created very little, just hitting the post with a curling effort, and the Greens progressed into the third qualifying round which will take place on Saturday 1st October. The draw will be made on Monday and is expected to be released around lunchtime.

However, there are three league games to come before that, starting with a home game against Harlow Town on Tuesday evening, kick off 7:45pm at SJP.
