It was an afternoon to forget for the first team as they were well beaten 5-0 at Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The Beavers took the lead in the 9th minute when Moussa Diarra emphatically headed home a corner. The Greens were reduced to ten men shortly before half-time when Mark Kirby, as the last defender, tripped Nicke Kabambaas he looked to latch onto a through ball.

Hampton put the game seemingly out of reach of the Greens within the first five minutes of the second half as Diarra and then Dean Sinclair both scored. The scoreline was made even more comfortable nine minutes from time when perennial nemesis Charlie Moone netted.

Leon Smith was then sent off in a controversial incident with three minutes to go, reducing the Greens to nine men, before Harry Taylor scored the fifth and final goal in stoppage time.
