Gary McCann and the first team will be looking to build on the much improved performance during the week as they entertain managerless Margate at Vale Farm. Kick off is at 3.00pm.

Reports broke on the Your Thanet website (www.yourthanet.co.uk) just over an hour ago that Margate had sacked Iain O'Connell earlier today having only been at the club for just over a year. At the time of writing there was no news on who would be in charge of the club tomorrow afternoon.

We last met Margate back in January, when we drew 1-1, Jamie Busby scoring for the Greens. Craig Cloke scored for our hosts that evening.

Like ourselves, Margate were in action on Tuesday evening when they lost 2-1 at Bury Town despite taking the lead through a James Pinnock penalty. That result leaves them one place below us in the table on goal difference.

It will be great to see a good turnout from all those supporters who are able to get to the game - the players do really appreciate your support when you get behind the team. We look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow.
