The Dons again won an important game in the league, this time against Aylesbury United who were only a few places below Hendon in the league. The win gave the Dons a lift to 12th place. The goals came from a follow -up from Gentle after Gary Phillips had spilled the ball and two solo efforts from Binns and Whitmarsh. Two Crawshaw goals in the second half pegged the gap back to one goal twice, but the Ducks couldn't find the vital winner.

Assistant-manager Curtis Warmington was taken to hospital during the week with pneumonia. He has since been released, but this has put him out of action for about 2 months.
