Hendon Reserves have now played four preseason games and they are looking quite good. A 5-1 defeat of Ilford was followed by narrow defeats at the hands of Bedfont Town and Ruislip Manor, despite dominating both games. Their last game was for a selection of triallists against Spartan South Midlands League Brimsdown Rovers' first team and it ended in a 2-2 draw (last season, Rovers handed Hendon a 3-0 defeat). Hendon's scorers were John McGrattan and John Pomeroy.
