Hendon won the much awaited local derby with Enfield comfortable at Meadow Park, the temporary home of Enfield. Goals from Marvyn Watson and René Street gave Hendon the 2-0 win against one of the poorest Enfield sides ever seen. Gary McCann didn't have a save to make during the full 90 minutes, and the game was won following Marvyn Watson's deflected strike in the 61st minute. René Street's first goal for the club came in the 86th minute with a fierce drive from the edge of the area.
