Hendon showed Nationwide Conference side Hayes just the kind of performance that the struggling side needs to put in to avoid relegation tonight, turning out 5-1 winners at Church Road. The victory means that the Greens will face Enfield Town in the Semi-Final of the Middlesex Senior Cup on a date to be decided. If either side looked Conference material today, it was the Dons, who dominated all 90 minutes, despite only going in 1-0 at half time. A corner was played in to the near post, but all that Hayes no. 9 Ian Hodges could do was to head the ball past his own 'keeper. Ofori doubled the lead in the 51st minute, Randall adding his contribution in the 60th. Hayes managed to pull one back with 75 on the clock, but still failed to look like coming back to equalise. Ricci Crace's first goal for Hendon in the 83rd minute shattered any hopes of a comeback, whilst Steve Forbes' 20 yard drive two minutes from time meant that Hendon continued their proud record of scoring five in every Middlesex Senior Cup tie this season.
