Tough start for Greens

The Greens face a tough start to the league season with an away game against Braintree Town on Saturday 20th August. The Iron were one of the teams challenging at the top of the table last year and are sure to be a team to watch once again this season under the leadership of George Borg. The first home game will be played on Tuesday 23rd August when league newcomers Fisher Athletic are the visitors for what will be another awkward fixture as Fisher appear to be one of the teams with some money to spend.

There is a different look to the bank holiday fixtures this season. Our Boxing Day fixture is away to Leyton with the reverse fixture taking place on Easter Monday, while we will travel to Northwood to play Wealdstone on August Bank Holiday Monday, with the reverse game being played on Monday 2nd January. The final home game of the season is due to be played on Saturday 22nd April when we entertain AFC Wimbledon, and the following week we end the season with a seaside trip to Margate, who should be back at their Hartsdown Road ground for the start of the new season.

The full fixture list can be found on the fixtures and results page on the left hand menu.
