The Greens were left rueing a poor start this afternoon as they lost 2-1 at Potters Bar Town in the third pre-season friendly. The home side took the lead in the 3rd minute with a long range free kick, and the lead was doubled a couple of minutes later when Potters Bar took advantage of some lax defending. From there on the first half was fairly even, Ross Pickett having the best chance to pull a goal back for Hendon. The second half was a different story as the Greens created a number of chances but couldn't quite find the decisive touch to score until Takumi Ake carried the ball through a number of challenges to score in the 87th minute.
