Born in Edmonton, previously played in Tottenham & District League before joining Golders Green. Served in Army during WW2 and played for Chester Reserves while stationed in the UK. Demobbed in 1946 and signed for Walthamstow Avenue but found it hard to hold down a regular first team place before joining Enfield in the very early 1950s.
An L. Drage played for Wood Green Town 10/42 and 9/43.
Leonard died in Tower Hamlets on 15/02/1984.
