Hampstead Town met Civil Service at Cricklewood-lane in the final of the "Daily Chronicle" Hospital Saturday Fund Shield, winning by four goals to nil.

The shield, valued at sixty guineas, was presented to the proprietors of the Hospital Saturday Fund by the "Daily Chronicle", who also provided gold and silver medals for the winners and runners-up. The Fund has benefitted from the competition by £324.

The chairman of Hampstead Town F.C. (Mr C.E. Timms), along with other officials, received the trophy and gold medals at the Annual General Meeting of the Hospital Saturday Fund, held at the Mansion House, by invitation of the Lord Mayor.

Competing clubs this season were Finchley, Hampstead Town, Edmonton, Tufnell Park, Wood Green, Civil Service and Barnet.
