Match Report

Hampstead [Town] made amends for their defeat earlier in the season by Civil Service, winning the return match by two goals to one. Both clubs fielded their full League elevens, Hampstead making one change in F. Abrey at inside right in place of F.G. Young on the injured list.

In the first half the Service had the best of matters, and were one up at the interval, C. Harbidge scoring. McCracken made several fine saves for Hampstead during this period.

Hampstead enjoyed the majority of attack in the concluding stages, and their two goals scored by C. Wise and Travers Day both resulted from splendid efforts, and were well deserved.
