The Town accounted for Deptford Invicta in the London League (Division 1) competition by six goals to none.

The game was somewhat disappointing, inasmuch as the opponents only mustered nine and were 35 minutes late in arriving in consequence of delay in getting through the City, caused by the Lord Mayor's Show. Under these circumstances therefore it would be unfair to criticise the form of the Deptford team.

Hampstead's goals were scored by O Summer (3), H Pride (2) and A Tomkins.
