A superb goal from Tanasheh Abrahams, from just inside his own half, earnt Wingate & Finchley a 1-0 win at Silver Jubilee Park this afternoon.

Under 18s draw against leaders

The under 18s good run of results continued tonight as they drew 3-3 with league leaders Hampton & Richmond Borough at SJP.

A number of supporters, including our Scottish supporters on twitter, have asked whether we've had two consecutive matches abandoned before - to which the answer is yes, over 70 years ago.

Billericay game beaten by fog

Tonight's game against Billericay Town was abandoned after 35 minutes due to thick fog with the Greens leading 2-0.

Gary reflects on Saturday's match

Gary McCann reflected on Saturday's match against AFC Sudbury when he said, "When it comes to the performance I thought it was one or three points worthy overall, but we were not efficient enough after good passages of play to turn the chances into goals.

Match abandoned due to mass confrontation

A mass confrontation in second half stoppage time involving most players and both benches resulted in today's game against AFC Sudbury being abandoned by the referee.

Semi final date set

The date has been set for our Middlesex Senior Cup Semi Final against Wealdstone, and it will be played at SJP on Tuesday 21st February, kicking off at 7:45pm.

Under 18s win to move second

The under 18s moved up to second in the table this evening as they beat Ashford Town (Middlesex) 4-3 at a chilly SJP.

Gary happy with county cup win

Gary McCann was happy as he looked back on the Middlesex Senior Cup quarter-final victory over Enfield Town.

Michael Barnard won the 3rd annual Hendon FC New Year Darts Open at SJP on Sunday 8th January and took the £250 top prize, beating Martin Lukeman 6-2 in the final, who picked up £120.

It is with great sadness that we have news that Hendon legend Laurie Topp passed away overnight after a long illness at the age of 93.

Greens dedicate win to Geraldine Clarke

The first team finally won their first league game at SJP this afternoon, beating Merstham 2-1, in a win that was dedicated by Gary McCann, the squad and the club to the memory of Geraldine Clarke, whose life was marked before the game with a minutes silence.
