Hendon to host Harrow in League Cup

The league cup draw, made this morning, sees Hendon drawn in one of three all Premier Division ties, hosting fellow Middlesex side Harrow Borough.

Hendon book launch on 15th November

London League Publications will be holding the launch of their book Hendon Football Club: The first 100 years at 5:30pm on Saturday 15th November, following the club's first team fixture with Tonbridge Angels at Harrow Borough.

Under 21s notch up a win

Only one of our youth teams won their game last weekend, and that was the under 21s who put in a superb performance to beat Wilberforce Wanderers 4-1.

Hendon won an exciting London Senior Cup tie this afternoon, beating Bromley 6-5 on penalties after 120 minutes of football failed to separate the teams.

Horsham draw means postponement

Horsham today earnt a midweek replay at Stevenage Borough in the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, by all accounts thoroughly deserving their 2-2 draw and leading for much of the game.

Hendon beat Margate 1-0 this afternoon in the FA Trophy, with a third minute effort from Harry Hunt being enough to see the away side through into the draw for the next round.

Joint author Peter Lush has informed us that the centenary book has now been published and is available from London League Publications' website.

Eddie Edwards has managed to arrange a game against Bromley Supporters' prior to the London Senior Cup tie in the afternoon.

James Burgess scored his first goal for Hendon in his 231st appearance this evening as Hendon put in a throroughly professional performance to beat Harrow Borough 7-0 this evening.

As supporters at Northwood tonight will have noticed, Lee O'Leary is back in the fold and played a part in the game against Harrow.

Bromley game on the 25th

Following news of our fixture on the 25th being called off due to Harlow's cup commitments, we have managed to arrage a replacement fixture.

As some of our more astute supporters have already noticed, Harlow's 2-0 win in a FA Cup replay over Crowbridge last night means that our away game on the 25th October against the Hawks has been postponed to a later date.

Dons' dream over at Wembley

Hendon were knocked out of the FA Cup this afternoon by a strong AFC Telford United side in the shadow of the arch of Wembley Stadium.

Telford venue is still Vale Farm

It has been brought to the club's attention this afternoon that the Willesden & Brent Chronicle have advertised this Saturday's game with Telford as taking place at Harrow Borough's Earlsmead.

Harrow venue moved

The venue for the Geens' game against Harrow Borough on the 15th has been changed from that previously advertised.

Don's performance not quite enough

Hendon went down narrowly by a single goal to nil at Tooting & Mitcham United today, despite a spirited performance by the away team.

Telford game will kick off at 3pm

The club confirmed today that following discussions with our FA Cup opponents AFC Telford United, our tie will kick off at the usual time of 3.
