Hendon were beaten 4-3 at Tooting & Mitcham United this afternoon despite a second half comeback.

The home side took the lead midway through the first half when ? Mason -Hughes headed home a free kick, and just five minutes later Phil Williams doubled the lead. Lee O'Leary immediately pulled a goal back, firing home from the corner of the six yard box, but Mason-Hughes restored the two goal advantage just before half-time

Mason-Hughes completed his hat-trick within three minutes of the restart, but in the 54th minute Aaron Morgan opened his account for the Greens on his debut. Tooting's Mark Waters was forced to clear off the line twice in quick succession, before Morgan scored his second of the afternoon with 8 minutes to go. Unfortunately Hendon were unable to find an equaliser and Tooting were able to pick up all three points.
