Club legend Dave Diedhiou has decided the leave the club almost 18 years after making his competitive debut.

Following 539 appearances and 71 goals across two spells with the club, Dave has informed us of his desire to find first team football in the final few seasons of his career.

Dave's contribution to the club rightly puts him in the pantheon of Hendon greats, and while we are devastated to lose such a wholehearted, and committed footballer, we respect his wishes to find more regular football.

His place in Hendon folklore is assured with him being the last Hendon player to score at Claremont Road in September 2008, and he was a key member of the two sides that went so close to promotion in 2015 and again in 2018.

Dave will, of course, always be welcome back at SJP, he leaves with the enduring thanks of everyone connected with the club and our very best wishes for the future.
