Hendon lost two matches on the spin last week to make it four defeats from their last five in all competitions.

Niko Muir's seventh goal of the season gave the Greens the lead against the run of play at AFC Portchester last week, before poor defending allowed Zak Willett to equalise, and Alfie Stanley to grab a deserved winner 12 minutes from time.

The Greens were once again indebted to a fine performance between the sticks by Josh Strizovic to remain in the game before Stanley popped up at the far post to secure the points for the hosts.

The Greens then exited the FA Trophy at the weekend as Step 3 high-flyers Walton & Hersham grabbed a nap hand at the Excel Hub.

Shaun Lucien pounced on a defensive error to give the Greens the lead before former Hendon midfielder Anis Nuur equalised with a superb low drive to go into the break level.

Dawid Rogalski gave the Swans the advantage before Nuur grabbed his second of the afternoon on the hour mark. Smart finishes from Jack Wood and Zidane Yousuf completed the rout for the Swans who go on to host Farnborough in round two.
