We were very saddened to hear yesterday of the recent passing of long-time supporter Gary McJannett.

Gary was a regular at Claremont Road and faithfully followed the club during the nomadic years at Vale Farm and Earlsmead before becoming part of the furniture on matchdays at Silver Jubilee Park. Often to be found in the bar before matches and in the bus shelter at the Bedford End, Gary sadly passed away following a recent fall at home and hip operation.

Gary was a passionate supporter of Hendon Football Club, and an active member of the Supporters Trust, often participating in meetings. Gary will be cremated in his Hendon shirt on March 26th.

The thoughts of everyone at the club go to Gary's family and friends at this sad time and we will remember him fondly.
