Hendon's memorable FA Trophy came to an end at Silver Jubilee Park against local rivals Wealdstone who emerged 4-0 winners.

A sloppy opening 20 minutes was punished by Alex Dyer and Tarryn Allarakhia, giving the Stones a 2-goal advantage that they were then happy to sit on.

Richard Pingling had an effort blocked just over the bar by Jaydn Mundle-Smith and Hamza Semakula forced a fine save from Marcus Dewhurst with a swerving, dipping effort from distance.

After the break, Hendon pushed to get back in the game with Dewhurst saving from MacNab, and Adenola having an effort blocked before Nathan Ferguson dragged two efforts wide for the Stones.

A flowing move on the hour mark saw Allarakhia make it 3-0 before Aaron Henry's superb free kick ended the Hendon resistance two minutes later.

Disappointment on the night, but a run that took in six matches, and three wins against higher division opposition will live long in the memory of Hendon fans for many years to come.
