Hendon came back from a 2-0 half-time deficit and the loss of top scorer Niko Muir to a red card on the stroke of the interval to record a thoroughly deserved point at Hanwell Town this afternoon.

The hosts were good value for their advantage at the break, with a Sam Evans penalty adding to a neatly worked goal for Jacob Bancroft. Mat McKenzie also rattled the woodwork with a powerful effort.

The game looked beyond Hendon when Niko Muir was dismissed for violent conduct during a fracas that saw Joe White cautioned along with McKenzie and Hanwell goalkeeper Sam Beasant.

However, after the break spectators would have been hard pushed to have recognised which side had a man more, and after excellent work by Joe White, his pass found Finlay MacNab who coolly finished with 20 minutes remaining.

10 minutes later White was released by a superb pass by Ethan Light before drilling powerfully beyond Beasant to secure an unlikely, but well-deserved share of the spoils.
