Hendon's solid start to the new league campaign continued with another excellent point on the road against newly promoted high-flyers AFC Totton.

After a goalless first half Ethan Light's own goal put the hosts ahead. The advantage only lasted three minutes as Niko Muir equalised from Kai Brosnan's pull back to level things up. Muir also had a goal disallowed, while Florian Endouvou Ada went close to winning in at the death for the Greens after a superb run.

However, Hendon also needed Matt Kerbey to be at his best to foil the lively home attack in what was a hugely enjoyable game, and a very good performance.
