A second half Billy Busari strike was enough for Gosport Borough to take the points this evening following a scrappy encounter at Silver Jubilee Park.

After a poor first half, the visitors made the most of a spell on top when Busari fired low into the bottom corner beyond debutant goalkeeper Ethan Wady.

Liam Brooks had Hendon's best moment with a fierce strike that Flynn Talley brilliantly tipped over but despite plenty of effort, they lacked the wit and guile to break down a well-drilled Gosport back four.
