Hendon's pre-season campaign continued with a third win in succession against Step 5 opposition as Arlesey Town were beaten 5-2 at the Armadillo Stadium.

Once again, with many players unavailable Lee Allinson took the opportunity to run the rule over a number of trialists but it was an established first-teamer, Joe White, who opened the scoring tapping in from on the goal-line after Hamza Semakula had headed back across goal.

Cheyce Grant, making his return from injury, doubled the lead from a similar range after his initial effort had hit the post before Arlesey reduced the arrears moments later with a wonder-strike from distance by Bruno Brito that gave Fred Burbidge no chance at all.

After the break two goals in quick succession from White - a penalty - and a trialist made it 4-1 before a 'Panenka' penalty at the other end once again reduced the arrears. The scoreline was completed late on as a well worked goal between two other trialists gave Lee Allinson's side a comfortable win.
