Tomorrow sees Lee Allinson take his troops up the A1 to once again meet Arlesey Town in the club's third pre-season friendly of this campaign.

Arlesey, under the stewardship of former Non-League goalkeeper Chico Ramos, play in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division and ended last season (at the time of the curtailment) in 15th spot, one place above our stablemates Edgware Town.

We have met Arlesey three times compeitively winning 4-3 in September 2000 in an Isthmian League Cup tie in which future Premier League striker Dave Kitson, who stepped in as the new Arlesey chairman in the summer, was amongst the substitutes.

Two years later Ricci Crace and Paul Towler scored in a 2-1 win at Claremont Road over the same opposition and most recently in September 2006 an FA Cup tie at Claremont Road ended 4-0 thanks to goals from Wayne O'Sullivan, Lee O'Leary, Dean Grean and Jamie Busby.

Last pre-season we visited New Lamb Meadow and came away with a 6-0 win in a game played behind closed doors.

Entry tomorrow is by cash only - anyone without cash will unfortunately be turned away. Prices are:

£8 adults
£5 concessions
Free Under-16s.

Whilst the bar is currently closed, the neighbouring function room will be open for supporters to purchase drinks and refreshments. Please ensure that all current COVID regulations and safeguarding protocols are adhered to.
