Tomorrow afternoon we host Hartley Wintney in our latest Pitching In Southern League South Premier Division game and what promises to be another stern test for Lee Allinson's side.

The Hampshire side have enjoyed a solid start to the campaign, still yet to taste defeat in league or cup and after a thrilling 5-3 win at Hanwell Town in the FA Cup last weekend, look forward to hosting another Step 4 club in the 3rd qualifying round on Tuesday night in the guise of Barking.

In the league under Anthony Millerick's stewardship, the Row have three draws to their name. A 1-1 draw at Walton Casuals was followed up by an excellent, if feisty, goalless draw at Chesham United in which they had two men dismissed. Then, on Tuesday night, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Beaconsfield Town.

Millerick's squad is full of players familiar to supporters from our Isthmian days. Matt Drage was a regular with the likes of Tooting & Mitcham and Dulwich Hamlet whilst Tom Bird had spells with Kingstonian and Met Police. Ty Smith, in midfield, was another to feature against us for Met Police whilst Joshua Webb was at Harrow Borough for a number of seasons. Up front, and likely to feature tomorrow, is Kingsley Eshun who joined the Row from ourselves last season after scoring the opening goal against them at SJP in our 2-2 draw just before Christmas.

In 2018/9 it was a case of swapping away wins as we won 3-2 at The Memorial Fields whilst we then lost 2-0 here at SJP after the first half dismissal of goalkeeper Andy McCorkell. That campaign saw the Row finish in 9th place, a superb achievement for their first season at Step 3, whilst last season saw them end in 16th place albeit with plenty of games in hand on those above them.
