Betty-Leigh Allinson received a very special visitor in the shape of former England goalkeeper David Seaman to mark her outstanding fundraising work over the summer.

Having raised in excess of £33,000 for Garden House Hospice, the former Arsenal legend visited Betty at home and presented her with a framed England shirt to welcome her induction into the England Lionhearts squad.

There was a further very special gift for Betty, who kicked off her amazing fundraising effort with £7 that she had saved up for a trip to Disneyland Paris that she was due to visit this summer but which was sadly cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
