Hendon FC youngster Stephen Cunningham has yet to even sign first-team forms for the club, but the star of the under 21 team only failed to do so because his mother was desperately ill. Sadly she lost her fight on 19 March.

The following day, Cunningham turned up for the Hendon A fixture against Wilberforce Wanderers and played in the match. Well, he did much more than that, because he scored a hat-trick in the Green's 4-1 victory. Unsurprisingly, he was the team's man of the match.
