Tomorrow afternoon sees us make the journey down the M4 for our first ever game with Yate Town who were newly promoted last season.

After finishing 3rd in the Southern League Division 1 South last season, the Bluebells gained promotion following a penalty shoot-out success over Moneyfields in the play-off semi-final and then beating Cinderford Town 3-1 in the final to secure a return to step 3 following a 10-year absence.

This season, under the stewardship of boss Paul Britton, Yate have one win and three defeats from their opening four league matches and drew 2-2 with Exmouth Town in their FA Cup Preliminary Round tie last weekend.

The opening four matches has seen the Bluebells meet three of the fancied sides for the title. Following a 4-1 defeat against fellow new-boys Blackfield & Langley, the Bluebells picked up an astonishing 4-0 triumph over much fancied Taunton Town on the road to get themselves up and running. That was followed by a 3-0 defeat at Poole Town and then, on Bank Holiday Monday a narrow 3-2 defeat against Salisbury.

With the Greens going into the game without any major injury concerns and with confidence buoyed by that 3-1 victory over Chesham, they'll be looking to build on that success whilst Yate will be looking to get back on track after their two most recent defeats.

The postcode for the ground is BS37 7LE and is approximately 7.7 miles off Junction 18 of the M4.

After leaving the M4 take the 3rd exit onto the A46, Bath Road and follow the road for 2.1 miles. Then turn left onto the A432, Badmington Road and follow this for approximately 3.5 miles until the roundabout with the B4059. Take the 3rd exit at this roundabout onto the B4059.

Take the 2nd exit at the first roundabout and the 1st exit at the 2nd roundabout to remain on the B4059. Turn right onto North Road by The Fox pub and Lodge Road is the first road on the left. The ground is at the end of Lodge Road.

We look forward to seeing as many supporters make the trip as possible and wish everyone a safe journey.
