It was announced earlier in the week that seven of last season's successful Under-23 side have joined Finlay Johnson at Chalfont St Peter where they will be in contention for first-team football at Step 4.

Daniel Purdue, Jordan Payne, Ben Gray, Alfred Acheampong, Khalil Francis, Riccardo Alexander-Greenaway and Perry Aitchison have all moved to Mill Meadow.

Purdue wrote himself into Hendon folklore in November 2017 when he stepped in at short notice to deputise for Tom Lovelock and produced a match-winning performance in the FA Trophy penalty shoot-out win at Slough Town. He went on to make a further five appearances for the first-team.

Alexander-Greenaway signed first-team forms in the 2017-8 season as well without making an appearance, however he did make the breakthrough into Jimmy Gray's squad on a number of occasions last term, making 9 first team appearances.

Gray and Payne both made their first-team debuts at Harrow Borough in last season's London Senior cup with Gray also appearing from the substitutes bench in the League Cup tie at Met Police whilst the other three did not appear for the first-team.

We wish all of the boys every success in the next step of their footballing adventure and will be watching their progress with interest as well as thanking them for their service with the Greens last season.
