Hendon picked up another vital three points in their battle against the drop coming away from already relegated Staines Town as 5-2 victors this afternoon.

Connor Calcutt opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a header, an advantage that was doubled by a Luke Tingey strike on 25 minutes. Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick made it 3-0 from the penalty spot before Calcutt tapped in to give the Greens a 4-0 half-time advantage.

Matty Harriott added a fifth ten minutes into the second half and as the Greens took their foot off the gas, Andy Juett and Lewis Lavender were able to grab a couple of second-half consolations for the hosts.

The win takes Hendon up to 16th in the table, four points above the drop zone.
