Greens thumped at home

Gosport Borough made light of a man disadvantage to romp home against the Greens 4-0 at SJP this afternoon,

The visitors took the lead in the first half when Tony Lee headed home unmarked at the far post and then after Mike Carter was dismissed five minutes before the break, it looked as thought the impetous had shifted.

However, within 60 seconds George Barker seized on a headed clearance by Danny Bonness to unleash a wonderful 45-yard volley into the roof of the net.

Boro then netted a third after the break when Tony Lee's effort from 20 yards skidded off the knee of a defender and into the bottom corner and then, with Hendon chasing the game, Ryan Pennery sezied on a defensive mistake to complete an emphatic win for the visitors.
