We would like to thank all those who donated to the foodbank appeal set up by Silver Jubilee Park on behalf of Sufra North West London. Over 60 bags of food have been delivered from donations made by many people connected with Hendon, Edgware Town and SJP.

Sufra NW London is a north-west London charity established in 2013 to address both the causes and consequences of impoverishment and poverty in the London Borough of Brent community. Based on St. Raphael's Estate, Brent's most disadvantaged neighbourhood - almost in the shadow of Wembley Stadium - the Sufra NW Community Hub provides a life-line for people in crisis, including families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless and socially isolated.

They provide them with the food and support they urgently need to survive, empower them to learn new skills and improve their wellbeing, and help them find work and become financially stable. By working together and harnessing the goodwill of their neighbours, their aim is to build a stronger community one in which no one suffers alone in silence.
