The first team were well beaten again this evening, this time going down 3-1 at Kings Langley.

It was another disappointing performance, compounded by the sending off of Luke Tingey in the 37th minute for pulling down Rene Howe in the penalty area.

Before that, Mitchell Weiss had given the home side the lead in the 25th minute, before Cole Brown equalised in the 30th minute. Tingey's foul led to Steve Ward converting a penalty kick so that the home side were in front at half time.

The ten men did battle in the second half, but chances were at a premium, and it was no great surprise when Luke Wade-Slater further extended the lead in the 72nd minute. The Greens best chance fell to Tyriq Hunte whose shot hit the post as the game moved into stoppage time.

Next up is a home game against Merthyr Tydfil. Kick off at SJP will be at 3:00pm.
