An injury time winner from Biggleswade Town ensured that the first team were to go no further than the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy at a very wet SJP this afternoon.

With heavy rain falling for much of the game, the first half was a goalless affair, but the Greens took the lead in the 48th minute when Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick found the back of the net with a fine strike.

The Waders pulled a goal back in the 79th minute through Tom Smith, moments after Adam Pepera had been shown a straight red card for a challenge on former Hendon midfielder Matt Ball.

The winner came in stoppage time when Joe White, who scored a 5-timer for the Greens when on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge last night, saw his strike squirm through the grasp of Danny Boness and into the goal.
