The first team returned to winning ways this afternoon at Swindon Supermarine, with a solitary goal proving to be enough to pick up three points.

The Greens started brightly and were rewarded with a goal in the 7th minute when Howard Hall set up Gianni Crichlow who fired a shot across the goal and bounce off the post into the goal. Hendon had the better of the play in the remainder of the first period, but were unable to test the keeper.

The second half was the scrappier half of the game, with neither side really grabbing hold of the match. The Hendon goal led a bit of a charmed life - with a number of crosses going across the box without being turned home, but it must be said that once again the effort from the squad was outstanding as they showed their determination to keep a clean sheet and ensure they took all three points back to London.
